Hello, I would like to welcome you to the first page of our
family racing team web-site. Welcome to Forjah Racing. My name is Chris Barnes, I own
and maintain the car. My wife Tanya is the driver. This is her first year ever racing, she has had an interest in auto
racing for about 7 years, which ironicaly is around the same time we met. She has always wanted to try
racing as a competitor. Myself, I have been involved in auto racing in one form or another for almost 25 years.
I have been involved with drag racing, circle track racing, hillclimbs and road racing. We have chosen to take on drag
racing for its reasonable cost. It is more affordable than most forms of racing. We will be preparing the
car to run in IHRA stock eliminator. This is an entry level form of drag racing, while still allowing it to be affordable
and fun. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and we ask that you stop back for future updates..
Thanks for stopping by,
Chris and Tanya.

Well its new england, and if you live here you know how crazy the weather
is, and we are just for it to break. The car is resting comfortably in Littleton NH. Our friend Travis has
it stored in his barn. We will be bringing it home around the end of april and the fun begins. I have some
work to do first, completely go thru the car and take care of anything that needs attention. In addition to prepping
the car, a good thorough cleaning will be in order. Do any body work that needs to be taken care of, and then get ready
for paint. We are lucky enough to have a friend who runs a local body repair facility in Concord NH. They will
be handling all the paint work. So, if your ever in Concord stop in and see Matt at Concord Collision Center for all
your body work and paint needs. We have some tires to get mounted and then install the cage and safety harness.
Along with all of this we will be attending the Wednesday night events at New England Dragway to start getting Tanya comfortable
in the car. It will stay street driven during this time. Our goal for this year is to try and be ready for the
IHRA event in the fall at New England Dragway. It will quite a bit of work, but we will do it. Well until
next time stay safe, and drive it like you stole it!
Well it is with a heavy heart that us hear at forjah racing report that Eric Medlen, has lost
his battle..he succumbed to the massive head trauma that was suffered in a testing crash at Gainsville raceway in Florida...
We send our thoughts out to his family and team mates at John Force Racing.. He will be missed.. Eric was 33 years old.

We will be adding pictures shortly.. keep checking back.
